Ireland Have Announced their Strong Squad for T20 World Cup 2022: Ireland has named their 15-player squad for the 2022 T20 World Cup on Tuesday, and Andy Balbirnie will lead them into battle.
The Irish squad is set to take on the World Cup Qualifiers with an experienced player in Kevin O’Brien, who announced his retirement from international cricket last month. The match will be difficult without him, but he still has plenty of talent and potential players like Paul Stirling, openers George Dockrell for balance, and all-rounder Harry Tector providing depth at six or seven spots alongside century maker Gary Wilson. There’s also mixed youthfulness, such as Mark Adair – another fast bowler.

The Irish team will board a plane on September 29th 2022, to head toward Australia for their first World Cup campaign. They’ll play three warm-up matches before facing off against Namibia and Sri Lanka in what is expected to be an exciting opening stage of fixtures.
