The much anticipated Asia Cup 2022 is finally here after a hiatus of four years. The tournament was jeopardized when the designated hosts, Sri Lanka, pulled out from hosting due to political and financial turmoil in their country, but now it’s back on track with some exciting matches! This year’s competition will commence Saturday, 27 August 2022, and conclude 11 September 2022, at Dubai Cricket stadium.

Sri Lanka will face off against Afghanistan on August 27th, while India will open up against Pakistan later that day. Both games provide excellent practice for teams preparing ahead of opponents during next month’s T20 World Cup.
